Fire Truck Up Date

First off I would like to thank everyone for another fun year at nationals, it was a ball. The cars started to show up on Thursday for repair, Dan and I managed to service 18 of them! The parts sales went incredibly as well, selling out of quite a few items. Also, there was a new award started this year, it is called the appreciation award. This award is given to those who go above and beyond promoting Crosleys in the club but get little or no reconditioning for doing so. The recipient of the award is picked by a board of our peers, with their only connection of being members of the club. The first winners to receive this award are Dave Edwards and Dean Sherman. This is going to be an ongoing yearly thing, so if you have any ideas of who you think should be nominated please let me know and I will pass it on to the right hands.
Now onto the Fire Truck, the floors were pretty well shot and had to be cut out. I decided would push my skills and would try to make a new style floor pan for it. I made the front floor pan and side pan as one. Next, I made the side filler piece by the door and then ended up hand forming the seams in between the two so they would have the proper curve in them. I even remade and installed all the underneath pieces for the seat brackets, duplicated all the spot welds and welds to original places for all you Concourse people, so no show points would be lost in the process!!! Stay tuned for more to come.
