Just what the doctor ordered!
A cruise past Griffin Hospital! CAC New England Region members followed Ernie Badas in his 1948 Crosley Wagon in Follow the Crosley, the fun event to replace Ernie’s usual Fill a Crosley to collect food for the hungry.
Nice to see our cars out on the road! Gas prices may not be quite as low as the 50s but that’s okay when the cars ran as well as they did! We’ll feed ‘em!
Our goal was to salute the healthcare workers at Griffin Hospital before delivering food right to Spooner House.
Looks like the camera caught a rainbow just above these two hardworking angels.
We gained a few horsepower back after filling the grocery cart. Cans weigh a lot.
We had a great photo op in the parking lot. Four shiny cars that were happy to carry hot oil and cool drivers. From left, we have Neil Cawthra’s 1950 Super Hotshot, my Mr. Winn, a 1949 Sedan, James and Madalena Sylvester’s 1950 Hotshot, and Gail and James Bird’s 1948 Crosley Pickup Truck. Nice looking group!
Loaded up and ready for the next big thing, we’re happy to share photos and thank Ernie for pulling this cruise together. Wrenches out to prep for the next gathering and see you soon!
